Clarity Clinic's Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is designed to offer comprehensive, structured support for individuals who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or mood-related disorders that are significantly impacting daily life.
Our virtual IOP for mental health allows us to deliver high quality treatment to those who are unable to attend an IOP program in person or who prefer to receive IOP services at home. Our online IOP runs for three hours per day (4:30pm - 7:30pm), four days per week (Monday - Thursday) with a minimum attendance requirement of three days per week.
Virtual IOP focuses on interactive, group-based therapy while also providing individual care. In addition to the structured 9-12 hours a week of group work, our virtual IOP program also requires participants to set aside additional time for individual care which encompasses one-on-one therapy, treatment planning sessions, family/support persons therapy as recommended, and psychiatric monitoring.
Please Note: Our Virtual IOP program is open to adults ages 18+ that reside in the state of Illinois.
Just like our in-person IOP program located in Chicago, participants in our Virtual IOP receive comprehensive mental health care that includes individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and psychiatric monitoring.
Our online IOP care model has been thoughtfully adapted for a virtual environment to ensure the same high levels of quality, satisfaction, and effectiveness as our in-person IOP.
We proudly offer virtual IOP services across Illinois, including cities like Chicago, Schaumburg, Naperville, Aurora, Joliet, Rockford, Elgin, Springfield, Peoria, Evanston, Northbrook, Champaign, and more. Your privacy is our top priority, and all virtual IOP sessions are conducted through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to protect your personal information. By expanding access to care, we make it easier for individuals across Illinois to receive the mental health care they need, right from the comfort of their home.
Our Virtual IOP program helps overcome location barriers, allowing patients in rural or underserved areas of Illinois to access high-quality mental health services without the need to travel. Additionally, virtual IOP treatment eliminates transportation challenges, saving time and cost while accommodating those with mobility constraints.
A virtual IOP program provides a therapeutic environment by allowing patients to engage from the comfort of home, reducing anxiety and fostering openness. Online IOP programs also lowers the risk of illness exposure, making it a safer option for those with compromised immune systems or during outbreaks like COVID-19.
Virtual IOP accommodates patients’ schedules, allowing them to integrate therapy into their daily routines without disrupting work, school, or caregiving responsibilities. Virtual IOP also simplifies attendance by reducing logistical challenges, helping maintain consistent participation.
Attending an IOP program virtually helps reduce stigma by allowing patients to access care from home, offering privacy and discretion. It also makes participation more discreet, as patients can attend IOP sessions without needing to explain absences or changes in their routine to others.
Family sessions are made easier by allowing members to join from different locations, increasing convenience and involvement. This helps improve support systems, making it easier for families to understand and support the patient’s treatment journey.
Virtual IOP can lower out-of-pocket costs by eliminating expenses for transportation, parking, and childcare.
Our Virtual Intensive Outpatient Program (Virtual IOP) closely replicates the structure and quality of our in-person Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) in Chicago. The same dedicated IOP treatment team, tailored care, and schedule are maintained, but the online IOP program is specifically adapted for a virtual format to meet the needs of our patients remotely.
Asking for help can be tough, but virtual IOP programming makes it easier. With virtual IOP, you get the support you need without the stress of commuting, childcare, or scheduling conflicts. Care comes to you, wherever you are.
Participating in therapy from the comfort of your own space can make all the difference. Our virtual IOP offers a familiar, private environment where you can feel at ease and focus on healing, whether you’re new to therapy or experienced with other programs.
At Clarity Clinic, we provide the same personalized, evidence-based care virtually as we do with our in person IOP program located in Chicago. You’ll connect with compassionate therapists and a supportive community. With our online IOP program, you won’t feel alone - we’re here to guide you and tailor the program to your needs.
Virtual doesn’t mean isolated. Our program fosters genuine connections and builds a supportive community. Group sessions are interactive and engaging, offering real empathy, support, and understanding from people who share similar experiences.
We understand the courage it takes to reach out. You’re not just a name on a list - you deserve compassionate care. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, or other mood-related challenges, our virtual IOP program here to help you find relief and restore balance.

If you do not have out of network benefits, Clarity can advocate for what is called a Single Case Agreement (SCA) with your insurance provider. If the single case agreement is not an option, we can provide additional resources to you or discuss private pay options.
