Drug and alcohol addiction can develop when executives self-medicate in lieu of seeking treatment, and due to their lofty positions, executives can often hide their addictions. "There are fewer people watching over them and challenging them," says Pavan Prasad, a psychiatrist who operates four Clarity Clinic mental health centers in the area.
