Bio

I believe that you are the expert on your own experience and that you know your body and mind better than anyone else does. However, I am here to be on your team, to listen, and find solutions with you that will fit your unique situation and motivations. I’m here as your medical provider to create a non-judgmental space for you to share your story, your struggles, and your goals for the future.

My approach to working with patients is grounded in warmth, compassion, and respect. I believe that building a strong therapeutic relationship is essential to helping patients achieve meaningful change. I am committed to creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. Integrating care for both mind and body allows me to meet patients where they are, and validate their fear and pain, while also providing knowledge and recommendations for the next steps in treatment.

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree from Emory University in Psychology and Philosophy, and a Master’s degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Physician Assistant Studies, with a concentration in psychiatry. I have completed specialized training in various areas of psychiatry, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and psychopharmacology. Before attending PA school, I gained extensive experience in the field of mental health, including working as a mental health counselor in a residential center, conducting research on therapeutic methods for children with mental disorders, and working in a lab focused on narratives, mental well-being, and identity.

I have had the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. Every patient is unique, and I strive to create individualized treatment plans that take into account each person’s goals, preferences, and circumstances. I’m excited to work with you, and I commend you for taking this important step toward prioritizing your own well-being!
