I have always had a passion for the intricacies of psychiatry. I understand how mental health is just as important as other aspects of healthcare, and take the time to get to know each of my patients’ unique backgrounds and needs.
With a compassionate approach, I can treat a variety of conditions including anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, and many more. I will spend time listening to the patient’s specific needs in order to develop a personalized treatment plan that will help them reach their goals.
I am a licensed and board-certified Physician Assistant. I attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign as an undergraduate, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. I then completed my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. During my physician assistant program, I received clinical training in psychiatry, family medicine, women’s health, pediatrics, and internal medicine. After graduating from PA school, I spent the first part of my career as an internal medicine hospitalist PA.
