Working on your mental health can be a vulnerable experience. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental, open space for us to work together. I believe that it is important to acknowledge the personal expertise each person brings into the therapeutic relationship, and how much we may be able to mutually learn from each other. I have been trained in psychodynamic, cognitive, humanistic, and existential approaches. I take an integrated approach. Within the therapeutic space, we may engage in a variety of practices, such as the pursuit of self-exploration, developing insight, reflecting on past experiences, better regulating your emotions, connecting to the present moment, or making changes to live in a way that better aligns with your values and priorities. I value understanding your background, culture, and other identities present in your life and how these identities may inform the work we do together.
