There is zero guesswork in whether or not to see a therapist because if nothing changes then..Nothing Changes.
My passion for working with others surfaced from many personal events and the experiences of others. It is my pleasure to share strength and hope with others who may be navigating depression, anxiety, grief and many of the other human like symptoms that arise from handling life on life terms.
Alternatively, I enjoy play therapy for children, adolescents, and adults of all ages. Growing up and taking responsibility does not have to be completely doom and gloom.
My Eclectic modalities pull from many counseling theories to create a customized treatment plan based on individual needs and expectations.
I currently hold a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. However, my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education has come in handy while working with children and adolescents in the Foster Care System over the last few years. Before this, I received my Associates Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling in 2008.
My personal experiences have proven far more valuable than anything learned within the confines of an educational establishment.
I look forward to facilitating a safe space where people can see tangible differences within reality through the process of self-discovery, self-discipline, and support.
