I am committed to compassionately supporting you through good and bad times, tough circumstances and personal frustrations that can weigh heavily. I earned my Master’s degree locally at the Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and my work has taken me into communities across Chicago where I’ve supported individuals facing substance use challenges, trauma, mental illness, and housing instability. Both my personal and professional experiences have shaped a belief that healing begins with honest, plain-spoken conversation—rooted in respect for your lived experience. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to start, we’ll begin with where you are. Together, we’ll explore what you’re feeling, what you’re hoping for, and what you’re struggling to carry. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help unpack unhelpful thought patterns that can keep us feeling stuck in shame, anxiety, or depression. I also integrate tools from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, such as mindfulness and distress tolerance, to help manage symptoms that persist, even as we begin to make progress. At the heart of my work is a belief in compassionate collaboration. I don’t see myself as an expert on your life—but rather as a partner in helping you move toward healing, clarity, and greater self-understanding. I’m here to support you, not just as a therapist, but as someone who genuinely cares about your well-being and your journey forward.
