Progress is not linear. We all carry stories shaped by our relationships, families, and cultural identities. Sometimes these stories create patterns that no longer serve us, leaving us feeling disconnected from ourselves and others. As a therapist, I offer a warm, nonjudgmental space where we can look closely at these patterns together - with curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to understanding your unique experiences.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). My approach is grounded in relational and attachment-based perspectives. I believe the therapeutic relationship itself can be a powerful foundation for healing and change. By exploring how past relationships and cultural contexts influence the way you see yourself and connect with others, we can begin to make sense of longstanding patterns and create new possibilities for growth.
I work primarily with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you are processing intergenerational or cultural dynamics, exploring identity, or seeking deeper insight into how you relate to the world around you, our work together will be collaborative and paced to honor your readiness.
Drawing from psychodynamic therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness practices, I tailor each approach to fit your unique needs. I believe therapy is most meaningful when it has room to unfold over time, allowing for reflection, experimentation, and lasting change.
In our sessions, we will create space to explore not only challenges but also your values, hopes, and strengths. My goal is to support you in feeling more connected - to yourself, your relationships, and the life you want to build.
