For as long as I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by how we grow within our communities and relationships. That curiosity eventually evolved into a genuine passion for psychology — one that deepened through personal experience and a growing appreciation for the importance of mental health. My own therapy journey has played a vital role in my healing, solidifying my belief in its power to transform lives.
The path to healing is rarely easy. But I believe that when individuals are given the space to process their emotions and experiences fully, they begin to reconnect with the strengths, coping strategies, and authentic self that have always been within them. My goal as a therapist is to help create that space — one that is safe, supportive, and free of judgment — where you can feel heard, validated, and empowered to move forward. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling and Art Therapy from Adler University and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
My approach is rooted in person-centered and trauma-informed care, and I’ve had the privilege of working in community mental health settings, substance use clinics, and outpatient therapy for adults with chronic mental illness. I support individuals from diverse backgrounds navigating a wide range of concerns, including emotional regulation, anger management, trauma symptoms, assertive communication, boundaries, self-compassion, and patterns of negative thinking.
I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Art Therapy, and Person-Centered techniques. My clinical work is grounded in a trauma-informed lens, incorporating mindfulness and somatic-based strategies to support emotional and nervous system regulation.
I work collaboratively with each client to develop a treatment plan that is personalized and adaptable, honoring your goals, strengths, and lived experiences. At the heart of my work is a commitment to creating an authentic, healing relationship — one that fosters trust, connection, and growth.
I show up with warmth, honesty, and compassion, while also leaving room for creativity, curiosity, and even moments of humor. It’s an honor to support you as you deepen your self-understanding and move toward lasting, meaningful change.
