I am a strengths-based, relational, and humanistic psychotherapist who approaches this work with deep gratitude and respect. I honor the courage it takes to seek change and growth, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you identify and pursue your personal goals. It is a privilege to get to know each client, and I value the opportunity to collaborate in your healing and development.
With over 30 years of experience as a social worker—including roles as a clinical supervisor—and nearly 12 years dedicated to psychotherapy, I bring a depth of clinical knowledge and life experience to my practice. I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am a proud member of the National Association of Social Workers. My advanced training includes Trauma-Informed Therapy, Anxiety and Depressive Disorders, Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses, Personality Disorders, and Substance Use Disorders.
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies. I am passionate about working with adults of all ages—individually, as couples, in families, and in group settings—to strengthen relationships and deepen connections with themselves, others, and their environments. My clinical approach is collaborative, client-centered, practical, non-judgmental, and rooted in building on your strengths.
I have had the honor of working with individuals across all stages of life, in diverse settings including urban and rural communities, hospitals, nursing homes, offices, and home-based environments. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where vulnerability is met with compassion, and where meaningful change and lasting growth can take place.
