With my empathetic and compassionate approach, I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space for my clients to explore their difficulties and develop effective strategies to manage them. I believe in tailoring therapy to meet each client's unique needs and goals. During our sessions, we will collaboratively work towards developing a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your specific challenges and aspirations. I utilize a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach that is primarily grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness. I will guide you in cultivating mindfulness skills, enabling you to stay present, observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment, and enhance self-awareness. I graduated with my BA in Psychology from the University of Dayton and with my Masters in Social Work from Aurora University. My experience is in a variety of settings including community mental health, individual and group therapy, schools, youth services, and addictions and rehabilitation services. It takes courage to seek help to confront life's difficulties and I want to congratulate you on taking the first step.
