Amy Strausberger, LPC, CADC - Therapy - Clarity Clinic, Chicago IL

I have nineteen years of experience working in the field and have obtained two masters degrees during that time. One in Human Services from Purdue University and one in Clinical Mental Health from University of Kentucky. I currently hold a LPC and CRADC and strive to support and encourage the individuals and couples I have the privilege to work with.
My approach consists of being person centered, meeting people on the level they are currently in life, supportive, non-judge mental, respectful, honest, and embrace a sense of humor. My goal in therapy is to help individuals reach their optimal potential. I have an ample toolbox of techniques and hope to provide skills to meet the needs of each individual or couple. Some techniques include CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution focused, MI, and various techniques that may be beneficial to individuals. I have experience with diverse people and in diverse environments.
During my free time I enjoy traveling, music, and sports, while also volunteering in the community and can usually be found attending a sporting event.
