Life is about creating your own sunshine—but when life unfolds on its own terms, it can bring stress, emotional overwhelm, and unexpected challenges that throw us off course. During these times, it’s natural to feel down, discouraged, or stuck, and to reach out for support. My goal is to provide a space where you can safely explore emotions and experiences you may have buried deep beneath the surface—without judgment and with compassion. Together, we will work to make peace with your past, reconnect with your strengths, and find meaningful ways to move forward, even when the path feels uncertain.
I am committed to helping you rediscover your self-worth, cultivate self-love, and learn how to choose yourself—especially on the hard days. My approach is strengths-based and humanistic, rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and valued. I draw from a variety of evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also integrate mindfulness, expressive arts, and recovery-oriented support to meet you exactly where you are. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
My clinical experience spans residential treatment, psychiatric and inpatient care, outpatient settings, partial hospitalization programs, and private practice. I’ve supported adults in active addiction, children impacted by sexual abuse, and adolescents navigating mental health challenges. My current specialties include substance use and addiction, trauma recovery (including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse), depression, anxiety, PTSD, and personality disorders.
I work with individuals across the lifespan as well as couples seeking support. Healing is not a linear path, but a process of reclaiming your story. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you create a life grounded in purpose, healing, and hope. You are worthy of joy and love—and I’m here to help you believe that, too.
