Bio

Everyone deserves their voice to be heard and I strive to be able to do this for my patients. Talking with a provider about the intricacies of one’s mental health can be a challenging thing to do, and I hope to be able to make this a little easier on patients by providing a safe space to do so.

I am a licensed and board-certified physician assistant and I practice evidence-based medicine to meet patients where they are to be able to work together to create a treatment plan. I grew up in a small town in Iowa before going to the University of Iowa to obtain my undergraduate degree in psychology. After this, I obtained my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa.

During my training to become a physician assistant, I was able to spend two months within psychiatry gaining experience with major depressive disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, substance use disorders, ADD/ADHD, and other mood disorders.
