Bio

Every person deserves to feel heard and understood. Through compassionate and empathic listening, I strive to build healthy relationships with you, highlight your strengths, and collaborate to move you closer to living an authentic value-driven life.

I am a fourth-year doctoral student in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. I graduated from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I have clinical experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults in moments of crisis, trauma, and adjustment issues. I also have experience working with clients with a range of LGBTQIA+, ethnic and racial identities. I have worked clinically in both correctional and inpatient settings and have seen how certain systems can be detrimental to families and individuals.

I have an interest in working with clients who are seeking therapy for anxiety, depression, stress and burnout, life transitions, identity development, gender-affirming care, and relationship difficulties. I am poly- and kink-affirming, as well as affirming of religious/spiritual experiences, whether positive or traumatic.

My approach to therapy is first and foremost relational. I strive to establish a nonjudgmental empathic space in which we can work together as not just client and therapist but as a team. I view the client as the best expert on their own experiences and I am a guide to help assist them on their path of empowerment through life. I typically utilize an integrative approach that incorporates a variety of evidence-based strategies. I apply solution-focused, strengths perspectives, CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to equip you with confidence and strength.
