Bio

Everyone’s journey to healing is unique which is why I want to create a safe space for individuals to explore their goals and collaborate to create a plan to achieve them. I received my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University after gaining years of experience in the field. I am a dedicated and compassionate mental health therapist with a strong commitment to supporting individuals on their path to emotional well-being.

My therapeutic approach is grounded in the person-centered model, which places the individual at the core of the therapeutic process. I firmly believe that each person has unique strengths, perspectives, and experiences that deserve to be honored and respected. By creating a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space, I empower my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and concerns freely.

Building a strong therapeutic alliance is crucial to my work. Through active listening, empathy, and genuine understanding, I establish a trusting relationship with my clients. I tailor my interventions to meet their specific needs, recognizing that everyone’s journey toward healing is different. I draw from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).

My areas of expertise encompass a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, post-traumatic stress, self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am also skilled in addressing diverse cultural backgrounds and identities.

I am deeply committed to fostering growth and empowering my clients. I guide individuals toward increased self-awareness, emotional resilience, and improved overall well-being. I firmly believe in the transformative power of therapy and am honored to accompany my clients on their journey of personal growth, healing, and fulfillment.
