Bio

I believe that the relationship between therapist and client can be compared to something sacred and I treat our time together as a space of work and healing. Entering into therapy can be vulnerable because bringing one’s struggles, hopes, fears and experiences to a dedicated space is not a small or easy task. This process can be a pivotal point for many individuals. It allows us to really sit with being human and use that experience for growth.

First and foremost, I prioritize developing strong therapeutic relationships with my clients. I know how difficult it can be to bring oneself to therapy and that there needs to be trust in order to feel comfortable starting this personal journey. As a therapist, I come from a place of curiosity, warmth and non-judgement when working with clients. We all have our unique story in life and I see it as a privilege to have that story shared with me. I am a strong believer in people’s ability to learn more about themselves and evolve. That is why I am here to help create a therapeutic space and embark with you on your process of healing and growth.

I am currently an intern clinician earning my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at DePaul University. As a therapist, I primarily operate from a humanistic lens using person-centered and existential theory. However, I am also informed by and utilize psychodynamic, DBT and Adlerian approaches depending on my client’s needs. I work with a variety of concerns including trauma (complex trauma/PTSD/intergenerational trauma), mood and personality disorders, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship issues, stress and more. All are welcome here, and I look forward to beginning this journey together.
