Every person deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, especially when it comes to their mental health. I believe in the power of listening with compassion and working collaboratively with my patients to help them feel empowered in their healing journey. Discussing mental health can be incredibly vulnerable, and my goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where individuals feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.
I am a licensed and board-certified physician assistant with a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine. I meet each patient where they are, recognizing that no two paths to wellness are the same. Together, we develop personalized treatment plans that reflect the individual’s needs, values, and goals.
I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Iowa, followed by my Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Saint Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa. During my PA training, I completed a focused two-month clinical rotation in psychiatry, where I gained hands-on experience managing a wide range of mental health conditions.
My professional philosophy is rooted in collaboration, respect, and ongoing education. I stay current with the latest research and treatment strategies in psychiatry to ensure I am providing the highest standard of care. I am especially passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and helping patients build confidence as they work toward greater stability, clarity, and wellness.
