I became interested in psychiatry after various life experiences with family and patients, realizing the importance of quality psychiatric healthcare to a person’s wellbeing. I look at every day as a special opportunity to help patients faced with challenging issues and define strategies to improve their quality of life.
I have an ability to listen to concerns and create bonds with patients. I am willing to spend time educating patients about their diagnosis and treatment. I focus on meaningful communication, attentive listening, and actionable strategies intended to support the advancement of my patients’ well-being.
I received a Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Midwestern University after completing an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am NCCPA certified and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA). My background includes specialty in hematology/oncology in private practice and at the University of Chicago. I also bring eight years of experience in the chronic pain management field, where I worked with patients to customize treatment and medication plans designed to improve their function and quality of life. I provide experience and compassion to patients of Clarity Clinic.
