I am a client-centered South Asian therapist focused on creating an intentional, thoughtful, and generative space for you to grow. As a woman of color, I have witnessed, both as a clinician and personally, the ways therapy can feel daunting and inaccessible for marginalized folks. My hope is that our work together builds a collaborative space that feels secure and safe for processing your emotions.
Before joining Clarity Clinic, my work centered on individuals from marginalized groups, including BIPOC and queer folks and those impacted by the carceral system, with a particular interest in people who feel hesitant to start or return to therapy. Together, we will identify the challenges in your life while keeping your autonomy and choice at the center of your care.
My clinical approach is deeply eclectic but grounded in client-centered therapy. You know yourself and your experiences in ways no one else can, even as you may be seeking support in understanding them and moving forward. My role is to truly listen, hear your story, and help create opportunities for insight, growth, and healing. This foundation blends with a range of theoretical orientations to help clarify your values, desires, and goals, and how you might build a life aligned with them. That blended approach offers a chance to understand yourself and your place in the larger world through empathy, value alignment, and self-acceptance.
