Creating a safe, respectful, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, supported, and understood is at the heart of this work. Seeking support takes courage, and I consider it an honor to walk alongside clients in that process. The goal of my work is to help each person feel respected, empowered, and supported as they work toward healing, growth, and a healthier sense of self.
My approach to therapy incorporates warmth, collaboration, and person-centered ideals, to meet clients where they are; this helps my clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, strengths, and goals in a supportive environment. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed care, with focus on building insight, developing coping skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and moving toward meaningful change.
I welcome adults, couples, children, adolescents, and families navigating a wide range of personal, emotional, and relational concerns. Other areas of my clinical interest include anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, depression, relationship concerns, family and cultural identity, life transitions, bullying, emotional abuse, self-esteem, codependency, addiction-related concerns, OCD, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorder.
Currently, I am pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at The Chicago School; this clinical foundation is grounded in counseling skills, ethical practice, multicultural awareness, and client-centered care. Additionally, I have experience from behavioral health settings including working with children and families, individuals with autism spectrum disorder, emotional regulation needs, social skills development, and behavioral challenges.
