My approach to care is collaborative and individualized. It is important to me to take the time to thoughtfully consider each patient's diagnosis and treatment options while always taking their goals and values into account. I believe in building long-term relationships and partnering with patients over time as they work toward growth and healing.
I am passionate about psychiatry and dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. My interest in mental health began early in life and was strengthened during my training, where I witnessed the meaningful impact that supportive, attentive care can have. I am especially committed to reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and helping individuals feel comfortable seeking the support they deserve.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Economics from Northwestern University and my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Dominican University. During my training, I worked with diverse and underserved communities, which shaped my understanding of how social, cultural, and life stressors influence mental health. These experiences reinforced the importance of meeting every patient with empathy, respect, and an open mind, regardless of their background.
Whether someone is navigating anxiety, depression, relationship changes, career stress, or major life transitions, I strive to create a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment where patients feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to empower patients with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their care and to help them achieve meaningful, lasting improvements in their mental health and overall well-being.
