Hi there! My name is Rachel, and I’m looking forward to walking along side you on your therapy journey. I strongly believe in creating a safe, warm and judgement free space for clients to feel comfortable and supported.
My passion is working with clients who may find themselves struggling to manage symptoms related to anxiety and depression. My approach to therapy is relaxed, collaborative and curious. I strive to validate client’s emotions and experiences while also empowering clients to become the best version of themselves.
When working with clients I lean into a person centered approach while also integrating other helpful approaches such as Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I enjoy getting to know my clients as a whole and take pride in creating a strong therapeutic relationship.
My clinical experience began working with clients impacted by a cancer diagnosis. I provided care through person-centered therapy, facilitated support groups and helped clients to build stress management skills. I received a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Governors State University.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you grow!
