I am a board-certified physician assistant dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working toward their goals.
I graduated from the Honors College at Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in psychology. Subsequently, I completed my Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois.
My clinical background includes experience in oncology, where I witnessed firsthand how profoundly cancer impacts mental health, often affecting quality of life as much as the disease itself. This experience strengthened my passion for helping individuals navigate mental health challenges and achieve meaningful improvement.
My areas of interest include but are not limited to: anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, substance use disorders, and dementia. My approach combines evidence-based treatment, medication management, empathetic listening, and motivational interviewing to provide personalized care tailored to each patient’s needs. While medication management is important, I also consider lifestyle factors which may be common contributors.
