Dr. Michelle Famakinwa is a Board-Certified Adult Psychiatrist who provides medication management and brief psychotherapy. She completed her medical training and general adult psychiatry residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria, Illinois. After residency, she completed a forensic psychiatry fellowship at Northwestern University.
Her clinical interests and expertise include the treatment of mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders as well as medico-legal issues. Her clinical approach is flexible and client-centered, often integrating different therapeutic styles based on the individual’s needs, preferences, and presenting concerns.
