I am a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to providing evidence-based, holistic, individualized care. I completed my undergraduate and medical education at Wayne State University in Detroit before training in Adult Psychiatry at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
I treat a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, postpartum and perinatal depression, student mental health, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, and psychotic disorders. My approach is grounded in a comprehensive evaluation and thoughtful consideration of the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence mental health, with treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and goals. Fluent in both Arabic and English, I value creating an environment where patients feel understood, respected, and comfortable communicating in the language that feels most natural to them.
