As a physician, I believe in treating the whole patient. I strive to provide comprehensive care to address the psychiatric needs of my patients. With my clinical knowledge in psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, I work collaboratively with patients to create and implement a treatment plan that speaks to their individual needs.
I completed my general adult psychiatric residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals. During residency, I served as chief resident at The Center for Psychotherapies at St. Joseph’s Hospital. I graduated medical school from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. I treat adult patients ages 18 to 65 years old.
I treat a range of psychiatric disorders in the adult population including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, postpartum and perinatal depression, student mental health, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I especially enjoy working with patients from diverse backgrounds. During the first appointment I focus on understanding the narrative of my patients, providing evidence based psychiatric care, educating my patients, and fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust.
