Life is a journey with ups and downs, and most of us would benefit from mental health support at different times. I consider it an honor to assist patients on this journey. I approach each patient as an individual and work with them to articulate their concerns and goals in a safe and non-judgmental space. Together we develop a holistic treatment plan to help them become their best selves. As a provider I am committed to lifelong learning in the field of mental health. I focus on evidence-based practices and emphasize healthy lifestyle, behavioral change and medication management for my patients. I think that patient education and empowerment are so important, and I emphasize shared decision making. I try to be a clear communicator, and I take time to listen to my patients. My goal is for every patient to feel informed, comfortable and confident in their mental health journey. I am a licensed and nationally board-certified physician assistant. I have a bachelor’s degree from Harvard and a master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. I am a member of the Illinois Academy of Physician Associates (IAPA). My background includes a specialty in neurology private practice, where I addressed depression, anxiety, sleep and memory problems in adults of all ages, including many older adults.
