As a Rush-trained general psychiatrist, I bring experience across a wide range of clinical settings. Care is grounded in a careful and thorough diagnostic process, which serves as the basis for a thoughtful, individualized treatment plan. This includes medication management alongside integrative psychotherapeutic approaches, such as supportive therapy, psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based techniques, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). A safe, respectful, and judgment-free space is central to this work.
Clinical focus includes the treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar spectrum disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. A deep understanding in psychopharmacology guides treatment decisions with the goal of reducing symptoms while supporting your lasting well-being. Care is tailored to your unique needs, integrating biological, psychological, and social factors.
Academic interests include a background in clinical research where I have served as an investigator in clinical trials exploring neuromodulation and psychedelic compounds for treatment-resistant depression. A commitment to psychiatry was shaped during medical training at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson, where induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society reflected both academic excellence and a dedication to compassionate care.
