I entered this field because I wanted to help others. I know that sounds cliché, but it is true. There is nothing more exciting than helping people discover their potential, find peace in a chaotic world, and achieve life goals. I believe in teaching people about actual self-care so that they do not have to rely on commercial self-care as an escape from their reality. Most of all, I believe that in building a trusting, nonjudgmental, safe therapeutic relationship where clients can process adverse experiences and move forward, effectively navigating life’s problems.
