It is my belief that therapy is a collaborative process, and I am committed to providing a safe, judgment-free space for all clients. My therapeutic approach works best for individuals who are open to reflection, willing to engage in skill-building, and ready to take an active role in their healing process -- even if they feel unsure, overwhelmed, or apprehensive at the start.
The basis of my clinical work centers on helping you understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building practical skills to manage distress and improve overall well-being. I feel confident in my abilities to support individuals who are experiencing anxiety, OCD, stress-related concerns, life transitions, and more.
My clinical background includes residential-level care with individuals experiencing anxiety and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), along with specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). This experience helped me build a strong foundation for helping individuals navigate emotional distress, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful, sustainable change.
Presently, I hold a bachelor's degree in psychology from Elmhurst University, and I am currently completing my master's degree in social work at Capella University.
