As a dedicated graduate intern in clinical mental health, my passion lies in assisting individuals on their path to self-discovery and emotional well-being.
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health from DePaul University, I am immersing myself in the study of human behavior and therapeutic techniques. My training includes enriching internships at Nourishing Hope (formerly Lakeview Pantry) and the Child Therapy- Global Learning Experience with Weifang Medical University where I have gained practical experience across diverse helping environments. I am diligently working towards my LPC licensure so that I can reach my final goal of an LCPC license.
My enthusiasm is centered around guiding individuals through moments of uncertainty and exploration. I am particularly drawn to helping clients grapple with existential questions and life transitions. Adolescents and adults facing anxiety, depression, and the challenges of change are my primary focus.
My approach is grounded in Humanistic and Existential theories, valuing each person's unique journey. I also integrate mindfulness and mind-body techniques, enabling clients to develop self-awareness and holistic growth. By fostering a deep understanding of their thoughts, emotions, and bodies, clients can initiate profound personal changes.
I am a firm believer in the potential for growth within each individual. My aim is to provide a secure, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space where clients can openly explore their feelings and experiences. Witnessing clients' personal growth is my most valued reward.
Creating an atmosphere of trust and respect is my top priority. I am committed to ensuring that clients feel safe sharing their thoughts, regardless of their nature. This environment of trust is essential for fostering authentic self-expression and personal empowerment.
I am excited to be guided by the counselors at Clarity Clinic as part of my educational journey, working collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide comprehensive care to those seeking mental health support.
I am also an active member of the PSI CHI Honor Society, a platform that keeps me updated on the latest developments in the field of clinical mental health. Staying informed allows me to offer evidence-based interventions to my clients.
