My passion has always been psychiatry and mental health. My ultimate goal is to help my clients live a more fulfilling and meaningful life. I strive to create a non-judgmental and trusting relationship with my clients so that they feel comfortable and open to expressing themselves. I believe in working with clients to understand their long-term mental health treatment goals and desires.
A comprehensive approach including medication and psychotherapy can be very beneficial for many patients. Each treatment plan is individualized and tailored to my client's specific needs and goals. For me, helping clients reach these goals is very fulfilling. I strive to provide empathetic and compassionate care for each client I see. I appreciate and consider it an honor to provide care and assistance in any way I can.
I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Psychology from Loyola University. I then went on to get my Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences (MABS), followed by a Master of Medical Science (MMS) in Physician Assistant Students, both from Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL. I received academic and clinical training in numerous fields including adult and adolescent psychiatry. My specialties include anxiety disorders, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and insomnia, among others.
