"You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream." - C.S. Lewis.
It is a brave decision to ask for help. It is never too late to start the therapeutic journey. I recognize that seeking help can be difficult; that is why I strive to create a safe environment for my clients, by seeing clients in-person or virtually. I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked in both substance use and community mental health. I also have a passion for working with individuals with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
While working with clients, I use person-centered therapy, CBT, and DBT interventions. I believe that everyone's therapeutic journey is special, which is why I strive to be there to support you on this journey. I consider it an honor to work with you on healing and growth throughout the therapeutic process.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Iowa and a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University. As a licensed therapist, my goal is to work with clients who have decided to help themselves on this therapeutic journey. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my cats and watching college football.
