We make sense of ourselves through the context of our lived experiences, and therapy offers an opportunity to explore the narratives we carry throughout our lives. Approached with curiosity, those narratives can open the way toward a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.
Working with teens, young adults, and adults navigating eating disorders, body image concerns, trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and LGBTQIA+ identity exploration, I have previous experience supporting recovery across residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient levels of care. My work centers especially on eating disorder recovery, the impact of weight stigma, and care for queer clients. As a Health at Every Size® (HAES®) provider, my sessions are grounded in a weight-neutral, anti-diet perspective.
My approach is integrative, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and humanistic modalities, with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity at the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
