I am passionate about the field of psychiatry because I feel the need for mental health services is greater than ever. My approachable personality and love of analyzing unique patient comorbidities make me a great choice for a psychiatric provider. I believe I can be a successful bridge between medical and mental health for patients. I am excited to work with a mental health team to deliver the care patients deserve. I am a licensed physician assistant specializing in mental health. I first completed my Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management and Policy at Indiana University Bloomington. I then went on to receive my Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS) from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. During my medical training I completed clinical rotations in multiple specialties of medicine, including psychiatry in underserved rural health communities. This experience made me appreciate the importance of having appropriate healthcare access for psychiatric needs and encouraged me to pursue the field of psychiatry.
