I am committed to helping individuals and families feel supported, informed, and empowered as they begin their treatment journey. My journey began by earning a bachelor’s in psychology from Marquette University. Following my undergraduate degree, I earned my Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from DePaul University, where I developed a strong foundation in mental health assessment, trauma-informed care, and collaborative treatment planning. My professional background includes experience in both higher levels of care and private practice, allowing me to work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure clients are placed in the most appropriate level of care. At Clarity Clinic, I conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial intake assessments, coordinate with clinical providers, and support timely access to PHP and IOP services. My clinical interests include working with individuals experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related concerns, neurodivergence, and life transitions, particularly those seeking higher levels of care. I am especially mindful of the vulnerability clients may feel when entering PHP or IOP and strive to create an intake experience that reduces anxiety, clarifies expectations, and fosters trust from the outset. My approach is informed by trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing, and attachment-based perspectives. While my role focuses on assessment and care coordination, these modalities guide how I engage with clients—emphasizing collaboration, strengths-based planning, and respect for each individual’s lived experience. I am deeply committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, validated, and supported. I believe the intake process is a critical first step in healing, and I strive to approach each interaction with transparency and compassion.
