I strive to provide compassionate, respectful, and collaborative care to create a safe space where patients feel heard, supported, and confident in their mental health journey. I am a physician assistant who earned my Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the University of Dayton after completing my undergraduate studies at Purdue University.
My experience working in a variety of medical settings has given me a deep appreciation for the complex ways that physical health, stress, and life challenges intersect. Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to psychiatry, not only because of its clinical depth, but because mental health plays such a powerful role in our day-to-day lives.
Throughout my career in healthcare, I have seen how often mental health can be pushed aside while patients focus on physical diagnoses or life responsibilities. Yet the internal struggles people carry: anxiety, depression, burnout, self-doubt, often shape their overall well-being just as much as any medical condition. I am passionate about creating a space where those struggles are acknowledged and addressed with compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care. My approach is thoughtful and individualized, and I strive to ensure that each patient feels heard, supported, and empowered to live more fully.
Outside of work, I value balance and connection, and I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, staying active, and exploring all that Chicago has to offer. I believe caring for our own well-being allows us to better show up for others , a philosophy I bring into both my personal life and my work with patients.
