The inner workings of the mind intrigued me from an early age. Personal experiences with mental health encouraged a passion to understand and advocate for my patients to put their mental health alongside their physical health, as I often find it gets put on the back burner. I aim to be a voice and a confidant for my patients to reach in their time of need, and to help them obtain their short and long-term goals.
I consider myself a compassionate, empathetic, and nonjudgemental provider that offers a safe space for listening and empowering patients for a more productive and fulfilling life. I believe in a comprehensive, holistic, and evidence-based approach to patient care through lifestyle changes, psychotherapy, and pharmacotherapy. Each patient should have a treatment plan tailored to their unique situation and needs.
I am a licensed and nationally board-certified physician assistant. I was raised in the northern suburbs of Chicago, and I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my undergraduate degree, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. I then went on to complete my Master of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South College in Knoxville, Tennessee. During my physician assistant program, I received clinical training in behavioral health, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine, general surgery, pediatrics, dermatology, and women’s health. I am especially excited to be back in Illinois and to be helping those so close to home.
