I am a psychiatrist dedicated to providing thoughtful, individualized care grounded in both evidence-based medicine and a deep respect for each patient’s unique experience. I earned my medical degree from the University of Florida and completed my psychiatry residency training at Rush University Medical Center, where I had the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across a wide range of clinical settings.
My clinical interests include bipolar disorder, treatment-resistant depression, and anxiety disorders. I take an integrative approach to care, combining elements of psychodynamic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with evidence-based medication management. I believe that understanding patterns, relationships, and underlying drivers of distress is just as important as addressing symptoms in the present.
I strive to create a space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their care. I view treatment as a partnership and strive to tailor care to each person’s goals, values, and preferences.
