Therapy works best when you feel safe with the person sitting across from you, so that's where I begin.
I work with adults and couples who are carrying a lot: depression or anxiety, painful experiences from childhood, strain in relationships, grief, or the questions that come with aging and loss. Together, we'll look at how your past shows up in your life today, at a pace that feels right for you. You can expect warmth, honesty, and a space free of judgment.
The relationship we build is the heart of the work. When you feel truly seen, there's room to explore, heal, and get to know yourself in a new way. I draw from several approaches, including AEDP, EMDR, Internal Family Systems, Gottman Method couples therapy, CBT, narrative therapy, and inner child work, and I tailor them to what you need rather than the other way around.
I'm a committed advocate for BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities. For the past ten years, I've taken part in experiential group conferences on power, authority, equity, and diversity, which shapes how I understand each person's story in its larger cultural context.
I earned my Master of Social Work at Loyola University, with a specialization in working with older adults. I'm a Level 3 AEDP clinician, a Level 1 Gottman therapist, EMDR trained, and IFS informed, and I'm a member of the A.K. Rice Institute and Grex.
