I am committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care in a safe and judgment-free environment. I want my clients to feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout their time at Clarity Clinic.
I completed my undergraduate degree at University of Michigan before pursuing my physician associate studies at Medical University of South Carolina. Following graduate training, I returned to the Midwest to begin my career in psychiatry. Over the past five years, I have gained experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings, which has allowed me to develop a well-rounded and comprehensive clinical approach. My training includes experience at St. Mary’s Hospital and Hartgrove Behavioral Health System, as well as specialized mental health rehabilitation facilities throughout the Chicagoland area. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for individuals across a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions while emphasizing dignity, empathy, and individualized treatment planning.
I have experience treating anxiety disorders, PTSD, major depressive disorder, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, insomnia, substance use disorders, and dementia. I especially value working with individuals navigating complex or chronic mental health challenges, as I recognize that mental illness can often feel isolating and overwhelming. My goal is to work collaboratively with each client to improve overall quality of life.
I believe in viewing my clients as people first and patients second, which is why I prioritize highly personalized and multimodal treatment plans tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. My approach incorporates pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, behavioral and lifestyle interventions, and social support systems. I strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, compassion, and mutual respect, ensuring that every client feels valued and understood throughout their mental health journey.
