Art can be a powerful tool for expression, communication, and problem-solving. Whether you consider yourself an artist or can barely draw a stick figure, art therapy brings these processes into the therapeutic space, where creating art can become part of your journey toward healing and growth.
I am a master's-level intern from Adler University, with a background in art education and psychological testing, and a Bachelor's degree in Art and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. My practice view centers on understanding the context of a person's life and how it shapes their thoughts, feelings, and actions, drawing primarily on Adlerian and cognitive behavioral therapies.
Much of my work is with neurodivergent clients, and I have supported individuals across the lifespan as they come to better understand themselves and their lives. All backgrounds are welcome in the therapy room, where my aim is to be an encouraging collaborator in your self-exploration. Whether the work unfolds through art or conversation, my hope is to offer a space where you can bring your authentic self. Coming to therapy can be intimidating, and taking this first step is something to be proud of. I look forward to meeting you.
