Mental well-being is a journey, and I strive to create a therapeutic space that feels supportive, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I believe in meeting clients where they are and helping them build insight, resilience, and confidence through a strengths-based, person-centered approach that values the individual beyond their symptoms. I aim to foster a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.
I earned my Master’s in Social Work and have a background in neuroscience, which informs my holistic and evidence-based approach to care. I work with adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and complex stressors. I utilize approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, and trauma-informed care to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and relational patterns while building practical coping and communication skills. I take a collaborative and flexible approach to treatment, working alongside each client to create a plan that reflects their unique goals, strengths, and lived experiences.
My experience in behavioral health and community-based settings, including work at The Counseling Center of Illinois and Primo Center for Women and Children, has strengthened my ability to support individuals and families from diverse backgrounds. At the core of my work is a genuine, trusting therapeutic relationship that supports connection, growth, and healing. I show up with warmth, honesty, and compassion, while also making space for curiosity, creativity, and moments of lightness when appropriate. It is a privilege to support clients as they deepen their self understanding and work toward lasting, meaningful change.
