Bio

Beginning therapy can be very difficult; whether it’s finding the right therapist, speaking with a stranger about intimate details of your life, perhaps you’ve been in therapy before and are skeptical about having to start over with a new therapist, or maybe you are just concerned about being judged. I understand that making the decision to seek help can be unnerving which is why I work hard to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for my clients to express themselves authentically along with a style and environment that is both welcoming and warm.

I am a specialist in pre/postpartum mental health and I have been trained in domestic violence/ sexual assault, mind-body connection, crisis prevention and I am a 200hr RYT (yoga instructor). I also assist clients with adjustment disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, divorce, life transitions, parenting, pregnancy challenges, body positivity, and other concerns. I see clients from adolescence and up and tailor treatment to their individual needs.

By using an individualized approach for each client with methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, thought training, relaxation techniques, mind-body connection exercises, creativity, yoga, reflection, solution-based counseling, and homework, a new perspective on issues can be achieved for a greater sense of confidence, healing, and wellness.
