Bio

I am a passionate Social Worker that is committed to a collaborative approach to reaching your goals. My work focuses on meeting you where you are at and assisting you with the ability to make manageable changes to your life. I find it is important to create a safe place to be able to share and process what your needs are in order to develop the skills and changes to make the growth process easier. It is important to me to be client-centered, empathetic, and non-judgmental so I can offer you the best foot forward toward change. I understand that creating a healthy therapeutic relationship is built on trust, boundaries, respect, and support.

I focus on a strengths-based perspective in my therapeutic approach. It is important to me to treat each person as an individual so I use approaches that are based on those needs. I incorporate my experience in evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, readiness to change, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to help make therapy as productive as possible. I enjoy working with a variety of age groups from adolescents to adults and beyond.

I received a Master of Social Work from George Williams College of Aurora University in Williams Bay, Wisconsin. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a variety of experience in treating diverse populations in a mixture of settings. I have experience working with adolescents and adults in inpatient and community mental health settings. My clinical experience has provided me with an opportunity to work alongside and treat individuals with addiction, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, depression, suicidal ideation, anger management, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, parenting issues, and relationship issues.

I am honored to have the opportunity to meet and work with you on your journey in the therapy of self-help.
