Often, individuals can find themselves stuck in the same difficult thought and behavior patterns which can make their situation feel overwhelming or hopeless. Engaging in therapy can help to break free from these repeated patterns and find a fresh perspective on life. I am passionate about working side by side with my clients along this journey, and seeing the amazing things they are capable of!
My counseling style is engaging and empathetic. I believe in meeting clients where they are and working with them to develop goals for treatment. My approach is a combination of Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well as Client-Centered and Solution-focused therapies. I feel that it is important to both align with my clients and challenge them to take a look at those unhelpful thoughts at behavior patterns that may be holding them back.
I am a licensed clinical therapist with over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field and providing individual therapy. I have assisted clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, and changes in life. I also worked with individuals with substance use concerns as well as trauma history.
