Through a supportive and non-judgmental manner, I work with clients to uncover, embrace, and develop their own strengths and inner resources. In addition to being a psychologist, I was a certified personal trainer. As a result, I fully embrace the connection between the body and the mind, thus, creating a holistic approach to well-being. I use my knowledge to assist my clients in leading the healthiest physical and psychological lives they can.
I have even worked with individual adult athletes and high school teams as a sports psychologist, focusing on performance enhancement. I utilize a combination of Non-Violent Communication, Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral and Solution-Focused therapies in a collaborative effort with my clients to help them reach their personal goals.
I have over 20 years of experience as a clinical psychologist. During this time, I’ve served a wide demographic of clients of all ages and all walks of life. I’ve worked in community mental health agencies, inpatient and outpatient settings, medical facilities, health and fitness organizations, and faith-based counseling programs. I have extensive experience in anger management, domestic violence, high conflict divorce, custody issues and forensic psychology.
