Bio

It’s hard to know where to start when it comes to your mental health. You may be feeling unsure or confused about how you might feel better. You already have the capability within you, it just needs to be discovered. Let’s take that first step together, and begin your journey.

My passion is working to find that perfect balance, personalizing therapy to exactly what is needed. This includes looking at a person holistically, meaning that I believe that each aspect of a person is intimately interconnected. A person is not just one symptom or label, but a complicated and amazing sum of parts. I want to hear and understand your goals and make a plan to help you achieve them.

I earned my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Loyola University Chicago. I value working with clients in many areas of mental health. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, life transitions, LGBTQIA+, self-esteem, identity, grief, trauma, and many others. I use an integrative approach, as I understand that therapy is not one size fits all. I utilize CBT, DBT, and solution-focused modalities. Furthermore, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, active listening, and empathetic understanding are all essential to me. In our sessions together, you could expect to learn new skills to manage symptoms, create pockets of peace together, or explore a new perspective.

Most of all, I want to create a safe space for healing and understanding. I celebrate diversity, and I work to be an advocate for people of all backgrounds. I am constantly inspired and awed by the strength and resilience I see in my clients and feel very proud to join anyone’s journey. Wherever you are with your mental health, let’s begin.
