Bio

I believe my job as a therapist is to help others obtain a life filled with meaning and satisfaction. Life has its way of throwing obstacles at us that can make it hard, but through therapy I can help you learn how to find joy and happiness in your every day life, create appropriate goals that will lead you to feel motivated, and become more self-aware of how your thoughts and emotions impact your day-to-day life. I believe everyone deserves a life in which they are given the opportunity to reach their full potential and it is my job to help get you to reach yours.

Through therapy, I can teach you how to identify negative thinking patterns, see the impact they have on your emotions, and change the behaviors that are blocking you from reaching your desired level of happiness. I use an empathetic and Cognitive Behavioral approach to help guide you towards a life of improved impersonal development, meaningful connections with others, and positive self-esteem. It is my mission to provide a safe and comfortable environment in order to assist and guide each individual on their path to self-discovery. I believe each individual’s situation is unique, so I provide an integrative approach that allows us to set appropriate goals together for treatment.

Throughout my years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I have learned to create a therapeutic environment that is catered towards each individual’s current needs. I received a Bachelors degree in Psychology from University of Illinois at Chicago and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University. My main areas of focus include depression, anxiety, eating disorders, mood disorders, self-esteem, relationship building and family related issues, ADHD, and life transitions.
